Dog Adoption Support: Help Valentina's Journey
Dogs in Panama face a grim existence, plagued by severe hardships due to inadequate veterinary care, rampant overpopulation, and crushing poverty. One of our longtime volunteers witnessed this bleak reality firsthand on a recent trip. A terrified dog named Valentina followed her around in desperation, seeking a lifeline. Valentina was a pitiful sight—starving, homeless, and riddled with infections. Our volunteer knew she had to help this sweet little dog. She fed her and brought her to a local vet for much-needed treatment. We arranged for Valentina's transport to the US, where she now lives in foster care, battling heartworms, hookworms, and chronic ear infections. Despite her overwhelming struggles, Valentina remains achingly sweet and gentle. Please donate for dog care to support her ongoing medical needs, and help us pay for her transport to the US and a better life. Even 5 bucks can save lives, because every life matters, including Valentina's dog rescue.
